In January 2026, we started Quilters with H’ART, a group devoted to making quilts and stuffed animals for Butterfly Bridge, which cares for children in need
For now, we are meeting the 4th Wednesday of each month , 12-4 pm, at 71 Little Doe Ln off Red Land Rd in the Wetumpka area. Text (334)300-0245 for information.
We have two experienced quilters to teach the newbies, so come, whatever your sewing level. The first week we sorted donated fabric and began rotary cutting. wnd meeting we finished first quilt top. All guild members are welcome. As we’ll also be making simple stuffed animals, we’d love to have some crocheters or knitters as well. We’re turning our talents to charity–share the love!
PS We also need supplies–fabric, batting, sewing notions.
